PCW Announces Quest of the Best to Crowd First Ever Champion!

Winnipeg, Mb – Premier Championship Wrestling announced earlier this week that the Quest for the Best is about to begin! This unique concept will crown the first ever PCW Heavyweight Champion.
The PCW Quest for the Best is made up of several stages. This Thursday night, December 19th, there will be a 20-man over the top rope battle royal to determine the number one seed in the Road to Glory tournament.
On Thursday, January 2nd, 2003, at the Stratosphere Nightclub, The Quest for the Best heats up with the Road to Glory Tournament. This will be an eight-man, one night, single elimination tournament. The winner of this tournament will be named number one contender to the PCW Heavyweight Championship.
On Thursday, January 9th, 2003, at the Stratosphere Nightclub, The Quest for the Best continues with the WildCard Rumble! This will be a Rumble-style over the top-rope battle royal. Two men start and then every two minutes a new man enters. The Winner of the WildCard Rumble becomes the number 2 contender for the PCW Heavyweight Championship.
On Thursday, January 16th, 2003, The Best of Seven, Quest for the Best begins. The number one Contender meets the number two contender is a best of seven series. It is scheduled as follows:
Match One takes place at the Stratosphere Nightclub, Thursday, January 16th, 2003.
Match Two takes place at Rookies Sports Bar, Monday, January 20th, 2003.
Match Three takes place at Georgies Bar, Wednesday, January 22nd, 2003.
Match Four takes place at the Stratosphere Nightclub, Thursday, January 23rd, 2003.
Match Five takes place at Rookies Sports Bar, Monday, January 27th, 2003 (IF NEEDED)
Match Six takes place at Georgies Bar, Wednesday, January 29th, 2003 (IF NEEDED)
Match Seven takes place at the Stratosphere Nightclub, Thursday, January 30th, 2003 (IF NEEDED).
The winner of the Best of Seven will be the much deserving first-ever PCW Heavyweight Champion! It all begins this Thursday night, December 19th, 2002 with the 20-man over the top rope battle royal to determine the number one seed in the single-elimination Road to Glory Tournament!
